International Dot Day is inspired by the children’s book The Dot by Peter H. Reynolds. The story encourages children to “make their mark” and reminds them that creativity, courage, and self-confidence can start with something as simple as a dot.
Our message for today: Everyone can make a difference. Start with a dot and see where your creativity takes you! 🔵✨

📚🎉 Congratulations to
Poppy Boyd, our first Family Reading Night book winner! We hope you enjoy your new book and happy reading! ❤️📖

✨ A successful Dot Day!✨
A huge thank you to everyone who dressed up in their dots and participated in today’s fun activities! 🔴🟡🔵⚫ Your enthusiasm helped make International Dot Day extra special! 💙
Thank you for helping us celebrate creativity, courage, and making your mark! 🎨✨

Classroom Spotlight: First Grade
🧶 Yarn Challenge! 🧶
Our first graders put their collaboration skills to the test! 🤝✨ Working in teams, they had to communicate, cooperate, and problem-solve together to use yarn to create different shapes.
It took teamwork, patience, and a little creativity—but they did an amazing job! 💪⭐ Learning is more fun when we work together! 🧶❤️

Classroom Spotlight: Mrs Paula’s 3rd grade science students are learning about forces and energy. They learned that by rubbing a piece of wool on a balloon, they could pick up tissue paper and foam packing peanuts with a balloon. They also made their hair stand up with a balloon! 🎈 The kids had a lot of fun! (Photos are representative)
